Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP) has asked ADC to develop a Siting and Access Plan for its City Market to guide ASAP in securing both short- and long-term locations while increasing access to underserved communities. The City Market is one of the few resources for healthy food in close proximity to The Block, East End and Southside neighborhoods, and boasts the highest volume of EBT/Food Stamp sales of any market in the Southeast. A small team of volunteers is conducting an existing resources inventory, collecting basemaps and developing site selection process.
